Now in its 40th year of existence, RTO/ERO is a bilingual organization that is recognized as the primary voice of retired teachers in Ontario and a group that advocates on behalf of other seniors.

If you go to the various links on our website, you will note that RTO/ERO is a caring organization offering a variety of programs and services, as well as a top notch health and insurance plan for its 60,000 members.

Our news magazine, Renaissance, is published quarterly, while other publications keep our members well informed on a regular basis. RTO/ERO has 47 districts that carry out a variety of social, recreational and charitable activities, including Project Service to Others.

RTO/ERO advocates on behalf of its members at all levels of government and it enters into strategic coalitions that promote seniors’ and community issues.
