RTO/ERO Foundation Announces $100,000 in New Grants to address Social Isolation of Seniors

Thanks to you, our Donors, the RTO/ERO Foundation is proud to be supporting numerous programs and projects with the objective of enhancing the lives of aging adults.

The Foundation funds three key areas related to aging:

  • Research to improve our understanding of the complex needs of older adults
  • Post secondary training in the field of geriatrics and gerontology
  • Innovative projects that address the issue of social isolation in seniors

All grants are awarded based on each project’s relevance related to applicable funding criteria and opportunity for application of learnings, by a Grant Review Committee made up of experts in each focus area.

The RTO/ERO Foundation is announcing a funding opportunity for research projects that focus on enhancing the quality of life of aging adults. This competition is open to qualified grantees based in Ontario and British Columbia.
